Our journey
Pearific began with a simple frustration: we couldn’t find lighting that was both uniquely designed and reasonably priced. Everything we came across was either mass-produced and uninspiring or completely out of reach price-wise. So, we thought, why not create it ourselves?
From that idea, Pearific was born. We wanted to design lights that didn’t just illuminate a room but transformed it—lamps that were as beautiful as they were functional. We also knew it had to be sustainable and personal, giving people the freedom to customise their lights to suit their homes perfectly.
Today, every Pearific piece reflects this passion. From bold pendant lamps that make a statement to thoughtfully crafted table lamps, our designs are made to inspire and bring joy to everyday spaces. And since we’re based here in New Zealand, you don’t have to wait weeks for your order to arrive. No compromises, just stunning, high-quality lighting made with care.
Meet the founders
Pearific was founded by Farshid and Sara, a husband-and-wife duo with a shared love for design and creativity. Farshid, an experienced industrial designer, brings his expertise in crafting sustainable and striking products. Meanwhile, Sara, with her sharp eye for detail and passion for thoughtful living, ensures that every design feels personal, practical, and full of charm.
Together, they’ve built Pearific as a brand that combines functionality with flair. Every product is designed by Farshid Sarmast Design Studio (FSDS) and crafted to elevate your spaces in a way that feels special and meaningful.
