Where does the name “Pearific” come from? The name ‘Pearific‘ is a playful fusion of the word ‘pear’ and the suffix ‘-ific’, which conveys a sense of excellence or wonderfulness. We were inspired by the natural beauty and whimsical charm of the pear – its rounded shape, soft hues, and juicy sweetness.
In creating the Pearific brand, we wanted to capture that same essence of playfulness and delight. The name ‘Pearific’ reflects our commitment to designing products that bring a touch of magic and joy to your everyday spaces.
Just as a pear delights the senses, we aim for our Pearific collection to enchant and inspire you. The name is a playful nod to our brand’s core values of creativity, positivity, and a zest for life. Who designs Pearific products? All Pearific products are designed and developed by Farshid Sarmast Design Studio Limited, the industrial design company owned and operated by Farshid Sarmast (www.farshidsarmast.com).

How do you ensure the uniqueness of your designs? Uniqueness in design is a core value for Pearific. We continuously strive to offer one-of-a-kind designs that inspire and delight their customers. They welcome feedback from customers on how they can further expand their range of distinctive products.
Where are you located? Can I buy your products in person? Pearific is based in Hamilton, New Zealand and sells their products online only. We do not have a physical showroom or offer in-person sales at this time.
What kind of bulb can I use in my lamp? Pearific lamps are designed to be used with E27 LED light bulbs. We do not recommend using incandescent bulbs or any other type of bulb that generates heat, as this could damage the lamp. We cannot take responsibility for any issues that arise from using the wrong type of bulb.
How do I care for my products? To clean 3D printed Pearific products, wipe them down with a lightly damp cloth. You can use a small amount of soap for tougher marks. Ensure the lamp is unplugged before cleaning.
Can I commission a custom design? Yes, Pearific is happy to help with custom design and 3D printing projects. Customers can email us at support@pearific.com to discuss their requirements.
What are your delivery times? Pearific’s standard lead time for each order is 1-3 weeks, as each lamp is made-to-order in our studio. If an order takes longer than 3 weeks, customers are encouraged to reach out to us.
Where do you ship to? Currently, Pearific only ships to New Zealand and Australia, but we hope to expand to other countries in the future.
Returns & exchanges Pearific has a 7-day return policy for any issues with the received item. Customers should contact support@pearific.com with their order number, photos, and a description of the problem. We will examine the item and determine if a refund or replacement is appropriate. We charge a $10 restocking fee for returns. At this time, we do not offer exchanges, only replacements for defective items.
